Summary: Cultivating Cultures for Ethical STEM (CCE STEM) research projects will use basic research to produce knowledge about what constitutes or promotes responsible or irresponsible conduct of research, and how to best instill students with this knowledge. In some cases, projects will include the development of interventions to ensure responsible research conduct. CCE STEM funds research projects that identify (1) factors that are effective in the formation of ethical STEM researchers and (2) approaches to developing those factors in all fields of science and engineering that NSF supports. This is a limited submission opportunity.

Summary: USAID intends to award one Cooperative Agreement in the form of a Leader with Associates (LWA) mechanism pursuant to this notice of funding opportunity. This NFO seeks applications from organizations with demonstrated expertise in seed systems and proven management capabilities with the broad range of needed seed-related support services as well as innovative tools, approaches, information, and methods to develop and deploy those critical support services. The goal of Seed Systems Support Activity (S3A) is to enhance farmers' access to a full range of seed choices and options to maximize their responsive decision making and planning for production. The activity seeks to improve functioning of national seed sector in Feed the Future countries and in countries with resilience and emergency seed security programs.

Summary: The Fellowships for Advanced Social Science Research on Japan program is a joint activity of the Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Summary: The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The goal of this FIC R25 program is to support educational activities that foster a better understanding of biomedical, behavioral and clinical research and its implications, by strengthening research ethics capacity in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) through increasing the number of LMIC research intensive institutions that can provide advanced education in research ethics. Programs supported by this initiative will equip scientists, health professionals and academics in these countries with in-depth knowledge of the ethical principles, processes and policies related to international clinical and public health research. Programs should be designed to strengthen the critical competencies needed to provide research ethics education, ethical review leadership and expert consultation to LMIC researchers, their institutions, governments and international research organizations.

The program will increase the opportunity for vulnerable girls to attend university or pursue open and distance learning short-term, certificate, diploma, and degree programs aligned to labor market demands.
