Int'l Student Counselor Brian Ridge selected to serve on the Students with Disabilities committee of the Diversity in Education Abroad Task Force
The Diversity in Education Abroad Task Forces (Diversity Task Forces) were conceived
as a way to bring together international education and diversity professionals to
provide critical guidance and support to Diversity Network initiatives, and contribute
to the development of new and valuable resources for the field of international education.
Diversity Task Forces are broken into nine thematic areas: Race/Ethnicity, High Financial
Need, First-Generation, Disabilities, LGBTQ, Religion, Males, STEM, and Leadership.
Professionals who serve on the Diversity Task Forces demonstrate a commitment to increasing access to international education opportunities for diverse and underrepresented student populations. Mr. Ridge will serve on the Students with Disabilities committee with five colleagues from around the country representing both institutions and organizations involved in education abroad. The appointment is for twelve months.
