On-site Recruiters Target Students from Strategic Countries

Onsite Recruit

Supporting the university's strategic plan of expanding recruiting efforts throughout South and Central America, China, India, and Korea, the Office of International Affairs recently signed contracts with two organizations to recruit students in Brazil and India. Daquiprafora (DQP) in Brazil and The Institute of Management and Foreign Studies (IMFS) in India are the first on-site recruiters contracted to bring international students to Texas Tech. The move is part of an aggressive effort on the part of the university to increase the number of international students pursuing a degree at TTU, and follows recent recruiting trips to China, Brazil and India by TTU administrators and faculty. Future plans include an on-site recruiter in China.
