One Stop Service for International Undergraduate Students

On Monday, October 6, the Office of International Affairs assumed responsibility for admitting international undergraduate students. Previously housed in the Graduate School, the International Undergraduate Admissions unit is now part of the International Education and Enrollment Management division in the Office of International Affairs. The Graduate School continues to process applications for international students interested in pursuing a graduate degree at Texas Tech University.

The admissions evaluators, Ashley Meeker and Miranda Pruitt, have begun reviewing applications for admission to Texas Tech in 2015. Ashley recently joined the OIA team after 3 years teaching English in Seoul, Korea. Miranda, a Texas Tech grad, brings international and NGO experience with her to her new assignment. Both are enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to TTU's goal of having more international students.

With the addition of the International Undergraduate Admissions unit, the Office of International Affairs offers "one stop shopping" for international undergraduate students. The admissions team joins the International Recruiting unit, the International Student Life unit, and the International Student and Scholars division to provide comprehensive services from recruitment, admissions, immigration services and student life services and programming to students seeking a bachelor's degree at Texas Tech University.
