OIA’s Dr. Justin Simundson participates in WES Workshop, Washington, D.C.

Dr. Justin Simundson, Senior Advisor, International Sponsored Student Programs, recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in the annual WES Training Workshop. WES (Working with Sponsoring Organizations and Embassies) hosts the annual workshop to provide professional development and networking opportunities for higher education advisers and administrators. This special workshop introduces stakeholders to various programs and strategies for diversifying and strengthening international enrollment, while also providing a unique opportunity to meet and interact with representatives of U.S Department of State, foreign embassies, and other senior international education professionals. While attending, Dr. Simundson also visited with several embassies to discuss future collaborations and partnerships with Texas Tech University.
