Change TTUnet wireless password on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad
No One at Texas Tech University or from Anywhere Else Should Ask For Your Password
Following the steps below will prevent a saved wireless password on your iOS device from locking your TTU domain account after changing your eRaider password.
NOTE: If you have not already done so, do not change your eRaider password at https://eraider.ttu.edu at this time. The instructions below will indicate at what point to do so.
Step 1:
Open the Settings application.

Step 2:
Tap Wi-Fi.

Step 3:
If Wi-Fi is turned off, tap the switch to enable it.

Step 4:
Tap the blue arrow next to "TTUnet".

Step 5:
Tap Forget this Network.

Step 6:
Tap Forget.

Step 7:
Tap the Wi-Fi Networks button and then the Settings button to return to the main Settings screen.

Step 8:
Tap the switch next to Airplane Mode to turn it to the "ON" setting. Turning on Airplane Mode prevents your device from connecting to the internet and repeatedly checking your TechMail account which will lock you out.

Step 9:
If you have not yet changed your eRaider password at eRaider Account Manager, use a device other than your iOS-based handheld to sign in at https://eraider.ttu.edu and change your password as you normally would.
Step 10:
If you use TechMail or TTUnet VPN on your device, you may choose to access the respective settings to update those passwords at this time.
Step 11:
Tap the switch next to Airplane Mode to turn it to the "OFF" setting. Turning off Airplane Mode allows your device to connect to the internet and check your TechMail account.

Step 12:
Tap Wi-Fi.

Step 13:
Under "Choose a Network", tap Other. (Do not tap the choice for TTUnet.)

Step 14:
Type TTUnet in the Name field. (This is case-sensitive!) Next, tap the Security button.

Step 15:
Tap WPA2 Enterprise.

Step 16:
Tap Other Network to return to the previous screen.

Step 17:
Type the following information, and then tap Join.
- Username: your eRaider username
- Password: your eRaider password

Your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad is now configured to connect to the TTUnet wireless network. You will need to repeat this process the next time you change your eRaider password. Your TTU domain account will not be locked out if following the process above.
If you chose to update your TechMail and VPN passwords, you may now connect to those services, as well.
