After you have changed your eRaider password, there are several issues that will need to be addressed in order to prevent your eRaider account from being locked out. Since Windows may try to automatically access a variety of network resources (such as TechShare, wireless network, etc…) with your old eRaider password, the first thing you should do is reboot your computer. This will clear most saved passwords, and will cause Windows to prompt you for your new password the next time you log in. After rebooting, follow the steps below to ensure your account will not be locked out:
To change your Windows Vista wireless password:
STEP 1: Click Start -> Network.
STEP 2: Click the "Network and Sharing Center" button at the top of the window.
STEP 3: Click "Manage wireless networks."
STEP 4: Right-click on "TTUnet" and select Properties.
STEP 5: Click the Security tab. Uncheck "Cache user information for subsequent connections to this network", then click OK.
STEP 6: Open the Properties again, then re-check "Cache user information for subsequent connections to this network."
