VPN Password Reset
No One at Texas Tech University or from Anywhere Else Should Ask For Your Password
STEP 1: From the Start Menu, open the Control Panel.
Note that in Windows XP, it is possible that your Control Panel window will only show nine icons instead of closer to thirty icons. If this is the case, click Switch to Classic View in the upper left corner of the window to return the Control Panel window to the classic view. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
STEP 2: Now choose Network Connections.
STEP 3: Double click on your TTU VPN Connection.
STEP 4: Your current Username and Password should be entered already. Simply highlight everything in the password field, hit delete, and then type in your new password.
STEP 5: Make sure the "Save this user name and password for the following users:" is CHECKED.
Click the Connect button. When connected you will see a connection icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
This should automatically save your new password for your VPN connection.
PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY OTHER CHANGES TO YOUR CONFIGURATION THAN THOSE SPECIFIED IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
