TechMail Setup in iOS 2 or iOS 3 for iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad

STEP 1:  Open the Settings application from your Home Screen.

STEP 2:  Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

STEP 3:  Check the list of accounts to make sure you have not already added this account. If not, tap Add Account.

STEP 4:  Tap the Microsoft Exchange button.

STEP 5:  Type the following information and tap Next.  Your device will attempt to verify the information.

STEP 6:  If your device cannot verify the information, it may prompt for a Server.  If so, type "mail.ttu.edu" as the Server and tap Next.

STEP 7:  Your screen should indicate that the information was verified.  If so, skip to the next step.

If your iPhone or iPod touch still could not verify the information but you are certain it's correct, you may still proceed without verifying.  Just tap Next, and then tap Save.

STEP 8:  iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad can synchronize your Mail, Calendar, and Contacts from TechMail, and those items will be accessible on your device from within the Phone, Contacts, Calendar, and Mail applications. Select the items you would like to sync by turning them ON; turn OFF items you do not want to sync.

If you have existing Contacts or Calendars on your device, you may be prompted to either keep them or delete them. Choose the option you prefer.

Warning: If you choose Delete, the existing Calendar and Contacts information on your iPhone or iPod touch will be erased and replaced with the data from your TechMail account!  This cannot be undone!

STEP 9: Tap Done after you have selected your options.

You may now access your TechMail on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad by using the Mail, Calendar, Contacts, and Phone applications from your Home Screen.
