TTUnet VPN Setup for iPhone or iPod touch
To setup your iPhone or iPod touch for VPN, please follow the instructions below.
STEP 1: Tap Settings.
STEP 2: Tap General.
STEP 3: Tap Network.
STEP 4: Tap VPN.
STEP 5: Tap L2TP, then enter the following:
- Description: TTUnet VPN (or any descriptive name you would like)
- Server: vpn.ttu.edu
- Account: Your eRaider Username (e.g. jdoe)
- RSA SecurID: Off
- Password: Your eRaider Password
- Secret: TTUnetVPN (This is case sensitive.)
- Send All Traffic: Set to your preference. (This turns split tunneling on or off.) "Off" is the recommended setting for most users. Set to "On" if you plan to access Library journals and catalogs through the Web.
STEP 6: Tap the Off button to turn VPN On.
STEP 7: TTUnet VPN is now connected successfully. You may tap the "On" switch to disconnect the VPN connection.
Note the status indicator along the top of your screen. This will keep you informed that you're connected to VPN as you return to the Home Screen and continue using other applications.
STEP 8: In the future, to connect to VPN just access the "Settings" screen. There will be a VPN option near the top. Tap the "Off" switch to turn on VPN.
