To register the MAC address for the wired LAN adapter on your Nintendo Wii:

STEP 1: From the Wii Channel menu, select "Wii Settings" (the round button on the bottom-left of the screen with "Wii" on it).

STEP 2: Select "Internet," then "Console Settings".

STEP 3: The MAC address of the Wii console is displayed on the first line. The LAN MAC address will be needed to register your game console, so please take note of it by writing it down.
