Accessing A Functional Mailbox - Outlook 2003
In order to use a Functional mailbox, along with your primary account, you must first add it to your Outlook profile. The instructions below will guide you through this process:
STEP 1: Open Outlook 2003.
STEP 2: Select Email Accounts from the Outlook Tools menu.
STEP 3: Select View or Change Existing Email Accounts, and click the Next button
STEP 4: Select Microsoft Exchange Server and click the Change button.
STEP 5: Select the More Settings... button in the lower right corner of the window.
STEP 6: Select the Advanced tab and click the Add... button to add the functional mailbox.
STEP 7: Enter the name of the functional mailbox you want to add in the prompt that appears and then click OK.
STEP 8: You will now be back in the "Microsoft Exchange Server" window. Click OK to close this window and then click on Next and then Finish to complete the process.
The functional mailbox will now appear in your main Outlook window along with your primary mailbox.
