To use a HSC email account along with a TTU TechMail account, perform the following steps:

Set Up Your TechMail Profiles

Step 1:  In order to verify that you are using a TechMail account, log into eRaider.  If you have mail information that looks similar to Server Name, Mailbox Name, and Storage Limit will work. 

Note:  Be sure to write down the Server Name and Mailbox Name because you will use that information during the setup process.

Step 2:  Open the Mail Setup window by clicking the Start menu button, selecting Control Panel from the Settings menu, and selecting the Mail icon.

Step 3:  Open the Mail window by clicking the Show Profiles button in the resulting Mail Setup window. 

This will open the Mail window which will list the Outlook profiles installed.

Step 4:  Select Prompt for a profile to be used.

Do not close this window as it will be used for the next step.

Setup Your TTU Techmail Profile

Step 5:  In the Mail  window (opened in Step 4), click the Add button to add a new profile.  Enter a name to use for the new profile and click the OK button

This action will open an E-mail Accounts window where E-mail Accounts can be added or changed.

Step 6:  Select Add a new e-mail account and click the Next > button.

This will open the next E-mail Accounts window where Server Type is chosen for the newly added e-mail account.

Step 7:  Select Microsoft Exchange Server and click the Next > button.

This will open the next E-mail Accounts window where the server name and mailbox name is entered.

Step 8:  Enter the name of your Exchange server and the name of your mailbox into the appropriate fields and click the Next > button.

The setup is now complete.

Step 9:  Click Finish to complete the setup.

Step 10:  Start Outlook and log into your TTU Techmail account.

Step 11:  Select Options from the Tools menu.

This will open the Options window.  The next step will use the Delegates tab.

Step 12:  After selecting the Delegates tab, click the Add... button to add your HSC Exchange account to the delegates list. 

This will open the Delegate Permissions window.

Step 13:  Change permissions to Reviewer permissions for the Inbox (as seen in the image).  Click OK to close this window.  Click Apply and OK to close the Options window.  Close Outlook.

The HSC account now has permission to use the TechMail account.  In order to view the TechMail account in your Outlook (along with your HSC account), perform the following steps.

Step 14:  Open Outlook and log into your HSC email account.

Step 15:  Select Email Accounts from the Outlook Tools menu.

This will open the Email Accounts window which will be used to change your HSC email account to allow the viewing of the TechMail e-mail account.

Step 16:  Select View or Change Existing Email Accounts, and click the Next button.

This action will open the E-mail Accounts window which allows the adding, removing, or changing of e-mail accounts.

Step 17:  Select your HSC e-mail account and click the Change button.

This will open the next E-mail Accounts window where changes will be made.

Step 18:  Select the More Settings... button in the lower right corner of the window.

A window labeled "Microsoft Exchange Server" opens.  Note that this window has four tabs.

Step 19:  Select the Advanced tab and click the Add... button to add the TechMail mailbox.

A prompt will appear to allow you to enter the name of your TechMail mailbox.

Step 20:  Enter the name of your TechMail mailbox to add it to your current HSC e-mail.  Click OK to close the window.

Set Up Your TechMail Profiles

Setup Your TTU Techmail Profile

Step 5:  In the Mail  window (opened in Step 4), click the Add button to add a new profile.  Enter a name to use for the new profile and click the OK button.

This action will open an E-mail Accounts window where E-mail Accounts can be added or changed.

Step 6:  Select Add a new e-mail account and click the Next > button.

This will open the next E-mail Accounts window where Server Type is chosen for the newly added e-mail account.

Step 7:  Select Microsoft Exchange Server and click the Next > button.

This will open the next E-mail Accounts window where the server name and mailbox name is entered.

Step 8:  Enter the name of your Exchange server and the name of your mailbox into the appropriate fields and click the Next > button.

The setup is now complete.

Step 9:  Click Finish to complete the setup.

Step 10:  Start Outlook and log into your TTU Techmail account.

Step 11:  Select Options from the Tools menu.

This will open the Options window.  The next step will use the Delegates tab.

Step 12:  After selecting the Delegates tab, click the Add... button to add your HSC Exchange account to the delegates list. 

This will open the Delegate Permissions window.

Step 13:  Change permissions to Reviewer permissions for the Inbox (as seen in the image).  Click OK to close this window.  Click Apply and OK to close the Options window.  Close Outlook.
