Accessing A Functional Mailbox - Outlook 2007
In order to use a Functional mailbox, along with your primary account, you must first add it to your Outlook profile. The instructions below will guide you through this process:
STEP 1: In Outlook, click Tools -> Account Settings.
STEP 2: Select the Microsoft Exchange Server account and click Change.
STEP 3: Click More Settings.
STEP 4: Click the Advanced tab. To add an additional mailbox, click Add.
STEP 5: Enter the Alias of the mailbox or the Display Name; then click OK.
For example, if the display name in the GAL is Doe, John then enter that in the box. If the e-mail address of the mailbox is firstname.lastname@example.org, enter john.doe in the box.
