Install Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 and Live Meeting 2007
Microsoft Office Communicator fully integrates with Microsoft Live Meeting and Microsoft Office Outlook. The following steps will guide you through installing Communicator, Live Meeting, and the Live Meeting add-in for Outlook, making the assumption that Outlook has already been installed on your computer.
NOTE: Before installing the software, you will need to close Outlook as well as any SharePoint sites open in your Web browser.
STEP 1: Navigate to https://eraider.ttu.edu and sign in with your eRaider username and password.
STEP 2: Click the Software Download link on the left side of the page.
STEP 3: Click the link which reads Windows.
STEP 4: Click Office Communicator 2007 R2 & Live Meeting.
STEP 5: Click the link which reads Click to Download.
STEP 6: If prompted for credentials, use your eRaider username and password.
STEP 7: Agree to the software license agreement. Then click Agree and begin downloading software. This will take you to a Web page with links to download the software.
STEP 8: Download the Microsoft Office Live Meeting installation package.
STEP 9: Run the installation package to begin installing the program. If you are prompted with the following screen, choose Remove Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 and click Finish. Then run the installation program again. The installation should then complete without further input.
STEP 10: Return to the Web page where you downloaded the first package and download Microsoft Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Office Outlook.
STEP 11: Open the installation package to begin installing the program.
STEP 12: Click Next, the installation will then proceed automatically.
STEP 13: After the installation is complete, click Close.
STEP 14: Return to the Web page where you downloaded the previous two packages and download the installation package for Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2.
STEP 15: Open the installation package to begin installing the program.
STEP 16: Click Next.
STEP 17: Select I accept the license terms and click Next.
STEP 18: Click Install.
STEP 19: Click Finish.
