After extensive testing, planning, and evaluation, the TTU IT Division announces the implementation of Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 on June 26-28! Office Communicator 2007 R2 contains all the features you’ve come to love about Communicator 2007, plus a wide array of new features, including:
- Improved voice/video chat controls
- New collaboration tools, including Desktop Sharing
- Outlook conferencing add-ins, which allow you to schedule conference calls using Microsoft Outlook
- Multi-way conferencing for voice, video, application, and chat
- Application Sharing and Whiteboard collaboration tools
- Integration with Microsoft Outlook and LiveMeeting
- Archiving of all chats in your Exchange (TechMail) Mailbox
- Customizable access for people on your Contacts list
- Voice/Video chat capabilities (webcam and microphone required)
- Simplified user searches
To download Communicator 2007, please go to http://eRaider.ttu.edu. After logging into your eRaider account, select “Manage Your eRaider Account,” and then choose “Software Download” from the left-hand menu.
