Microsoft Messenger 7.0.2 for Mac Setup

NOTE:  You must have administrator privileges in order to install this software.  Make sure you have closed any previous versions of Microsoft Messenger and any conversations before proceeding with this installation.


STEP 1:  Download messenger702.dmg from:

STEP 2:  The file may open automatically depending on your operating system configuration.  If it does not open, double-click it.

STEP 3:  Drag and drop the Microsoft Messenger icon to the Applications folder.

STEP 4:  Close the Microsoft Messenger window.

STEP 5:  Eject the mounted Microsoft Messenger volume by dragging it to the Trash or by clicking the eject button next to its icon in Finder.

STEP 6:  Browse to your Applications folder and open Microsoft Messenger.

STEP 7:  Click Next.

STEP 8:  Read the Terms of use and click Next.

STEP 9:  Click Accept if you agree to the terms.

STEP 10:  Wait for the Setup Assistant to search for previous versions.

STEP 11:  If you have an older version of Microsoft Messenger installed, verify Yes is selected and click Next.

If no previous versions were found, you should receive a prompt indicating such.  If so, simply click OK.

STEP 12:  Select the Corporate account checkbox and click Next.

STEP 13:  Use the following information to complete the fields, then click Next.

STEP 14:  Choose the options you'd like and click Finish.

STEP 15:  If prompted, type your sign-in information and click Sign In.
