Connect to TechShare with OS X Lion
Step 1:
Connect to TTUnet using either a wired Ethernet connection, wireless, or VPN.
Step 2:
Click anywhere on the desktop. This will make Finder the active program in the menu bar.
Step 3:
Click Go on the menu bar, and then choose Connect to Server.
Step 4:
In the "Server Address" field, type smb://techshare.ttu.edu/depts/your_departmental_folder_name. Then, click Connect.
For example, to connect to the IT Help Central TechShare folder, type smb://techshare.ttu.edu/depts/helpcentral.
IMPORTANT: If you use only the path
smb://techshare.ttu.edu/depts, you may experience unexpected
results.
Step 5:
If prompted for credentials, use your eRaider username and password.
