TTU Time & Effort Reporting
TTU Time and Effort Reporting is an accounting of effort on sponsored agreements, both paid and unpaid. TTU faculty and staff who have utilized grants are required to certify work performed and verify that direct labor charges are reasonable and reflect actual work performed. State and federal government requirements mandate that Texas Tech report this information. Without certification, we would not be eligible for re-enforcing from payment agencies
You are asked to certify to your effort if you are being paid from an account funded by federal, state or private money. You also are asked to certify your effort if you have indicated that you will expend effort on a project funded by federal, state or private money (cost share).
Failure to complete the effort report leaves Texas Tech University in jeopardy of dis-allowance of salary costs on sponsored agreements. It also is our only means of documenting salary charges which are cost shared. We risk dis-allowance on these costs as well. The URL for the Time and Effort application can be found at:
NOTE: You must use Internet Explorer 7 (or Internet Explorer 8 in Compatibility Mode) to correctly view and use the site.
