Connect to TTUnet using WPA2 in SUSE (Linux)

The TTU IT Division, in partnership with the Student Government Association (SGA), have provided the following information as a courtesy to the TTU community. STEP 1: Click on the network icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. If your computer is not connected to any network it should be red.

On the menu that comes up click the Connection Settings button.

STEP 2: Click the Add button.

STEP 3: Click the Wireless Security tab.

STEP 4: Configure the following settings:

  • Connection name: TTUnet
  • Check Connect automatically
  • Security: WPA/WPA2 Enterprise
  • Authentication: LEAP
  • Username: ttu\eRaider (where eRaider is your eRaider username)
  • Password: your eRaider password

STEP 5: Click the Wireless tab, then click the Scan button.

STEP 6: Select TTUnet, then click OK.

STEP 7: Click OK on any previous windows.

Your computer is now configured to connect to the TTUnet wireless network. You will need to repeat this process the next time you change your eRaider password.
