Connect to TTUnet using WPA2 in Windows 7

STEP 1: Click on the wireless network icon in the task bar.

If you do not see the icon, click on the arrow button to display any hidden icons. Choose the wireless network icon.

STEP 2: Click on TTUnet. Verify that Connect automatically is checked and then click Connect.

STEP 3: Type in your eRaider username in the top box and your eRaider password in the bottom box and click OK.

STEP 4: If a "Windows Security Alert" window appears, click Connect.

STEP 5: You should now be connected to the TTUnet Wireless Network. If not, try the alternative solution that follows.


ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION

NOTE:
Only use this alternative solution if you are not able to connect using the automatic steps above. Under normal circumstances the alternative solution is not needed.

STEP 1: Click Start -> Control Panel.

          

STEP 2: Click Network and Internet.

          

STEP 3: Click Network and Sharing Center at the top of the window.

          

STEP 4: Click Set up a new connection or network.

          

STEP 5: Click Manually create a network profile.

          

STEP 6: Enter the following, then click Next.

  1. Network name: TTUnet
  2. Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
  3. Encryption type: AES
  4. Check Start this connection automatically

          

STEP 7: After TTUnet is added, Click Change connection settings.

          

STEP 8: In the Connection tab, enter the following:

          

STEP 9: Click the Security tab. Then verify these settings:

  1. Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
  2. Encryption type: AES
  3. Network authentication method: Protected EAP (PEAP)
  4. Check Cache user information for subsequent connections to this network
  5. Click Settings.

          

STEP 10: Verify these settings:

  1. Check Validate server certificate.
  2. Check Equifax Secure Global eBusiness CA-1.
  3. Select Authentication Method: Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2).
  4. Uncheck Enable Fast Reconnect.
  5. Click Configure.

          

STEP 11: Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any) and click OK on all windows.

          

STEP 12: Wait until the notification that says Additional information is required to connect to TTUnet. Click to provide additional information and connect appears and click on it.

          

STEP 13: When the Enter Credentials window appears, enter the following and click OK.
