eRaider Account
eRaider is an account management system which makes it possible for students, faculty, and staff to obtain and access electronic resources at Texas Tech using a single username and password. Your eRaider username and password are required to access many of these resources.
Your eRaider account allows you to send and receive email, update your online directory information, create and manage an email alias, access the Internet, access TechSIS for registration and information, enroll in computing ShortCourses, take advantage of online training, create a personal Web site, and download free software.
Some services available with your eRaider account are:
- TechMail Addresses (e.g., john.doe@ttu.edu)
- MyWeb Personal Web Page
- TechMail with MS Outlook - E-mail - (MS Outlook required)
- TechMail Web Access - E-mail - (no mail client needed; Web browser required)
- TTU NT Domain Authentication
- Network Site Coordinators (NSC)

When you open your computer account, you will be assigned a username. This username will be a combination of your first name and last name. You will need your eRaider username to access any of the services listed above, as well as many others.
eRaider passwords must be changed every 90 days. To change your password, login to the eRaider Account Manager. If you are having any problems changing your password you may contact IT Help Central at 742-HELP (4357).

Other Accounts
- Department Web Account
This account is available to TTU entities (e.g., departments, colleges, institutes, centers, etc.) to publish a Web site. - Student Organization Web Account
This account is available to TTU registered student organizations to publish a Web site. - Mailing List Account
This is a Listserv-type e-mail distribution and announcement system that allows TTU faculty, staff, and registered student organizations to create and manage mailing lists that can be subscribed to by e-mail users worldwide.
Web Page Standards
There is a set of policies and procedures applicable to Web page publication by Texas Tech faculty, staff, and students. These standards include the quality of information, use of Texas Tech logos, and responsibilities and required elements for both official and unofficial pages. View the TTU Web Guidelines.
