Other Statutes

Some of the other federal laws that are being applied by the courts to include the Internet are:

U.S. Code Title 18, Chapter 110, Sections 2251-2260: Child Pornography
Title 18, Chapter 71, Sections 1460-1469: Obscenity
Title 18, Chapter 110A, Sections 2261-2266: Stalking
Title 18, Chapter 113B, Sections 2331-2339B: Terrorism

Until Internet-specific laws are passed, expect this application to continue. Each of these laws has a Texas statute counterpart (see Part 2).

The full text of these laws, along with other federal statutes, can be found on a Cornell University Web site. The site includes a very good search engine for those laws.
