Other Statutes

Some of the other state laws that are being applied by the courts to include the Internet are:

Penal Code Chapter 43--Section 26 and Family Code Chapter 261: Child Pornography
Civil Practice and Remedies Code Chapter 85: Stalking
Penal Code Chapter 22: Terrorism

Until Internet-specific laws are passed, expect this application to continue. Each of these laws, plus the wrongful access and obscenity laws, has a federal statute counterpart (see Part 3).
