MATLAB Site License Installation Instructions
Step 1: Create a MathWorks Account
To activate the software, you must have a MathWorks Account. You can use an existing account, but the e-mail address used for the account must include the university's e-mail domain and the account must be set up for academic use.
You can create your account at the MathWorks Web site. When you create the account, make sure to set it up for academic use.
Step 2: Associate Your Account with the License
To activate the software, you must associate your MathWorks Account with the Total Academic Headcount (TAH) Campus license for Texas Tech University, using the Activation Key.
You will need this key to associate your MathWorks account with the TTU MATLAB site license. The activation key is available on the eRaider web site, under Software Downloads.

To associate with a license at the License Center, follow these instructions:
- Go to the MathWorks Web site and log in to your MathWorks Account.
- On the My Account page, click Manage Licenses.
- On the My Licenses page, click
. - In the Add License dialog box shown below, select Activation Key click Continue.

- Enter the Activation Key from the eRaider web site and click continue.
Step 3: Install Product Files
- Go to the MathWorks Web site and log in to your MathWorks Account.
- On the My Account page, click Get Licensed Products and Updates under My Downloads.
- Start the MathWorks installer specific to your platform.

- Choose to download the current version of all my products for the platform(s) selected.

- Choose to launch the Agent directly.

- Select the download folder and click next.

- Review the products that will be downloaded and click Download.

- Download Installer 12.1

- Choose Start Installer then click Finish.

- Choose to Install using the Internet then click Next.

- Accept the terms of the license agreement and click next.

- Enter Activation Key and click Next
- Choose installation type and click Next.

- Specify installation folder then click Next.

- Create the destination folder.

- Confirm your installation settings and click Install.

- Once your installation is complete you are ready to use MathWorks.
