*Teachers will receive a stipend for attending and lunch will be provided.

Student Programs will be offered on the following days:
Teacher U.S/World History Workshop
Dates: June 25th and 26th
Location: International Cultural Center

There will be 4 sessions:
Session 1: The British roots of the American Revolution
Session 2: The American Revolution and the Abolitionist Movement
Session 3: The American Revolution and the French Revolution
Session 4: The American Revolution and revolutions in Latin America
Teachers will receive a $50 stipend for each day’s attendance
Two sessions offered each day (morning and afternoon)
The professor will lecture, Q&A with discussion, then break out session in groups for further discussion and classroom applications
Lunch will be provided both days
Workshop will begin at 9:00 and end at 4:00
You must attend the full day to receive the stipend
Preliminary readings and handouts will be provided to teachers who register prior to the workshop.
