Library Makerspace helping 3D print face shields

The Library has joined forces with 28 collaborators as part of the West Texas 3D COVID-19 Relief Consortium to 3D print face shields for medical providers in the West Texas community. As of April 6, the Library Makerspace has contributed 134 of the 731 total prints delivered to the Consortium. The Library Makerspace is one of three contributors with the capability to produce 20 or more prints per day. Library to close March 26 until further notice

The Library will close at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26 as instructed by Campus Administration and will remain closed until further notice to assist efforts to prevent spread of COVID-19. There will be no access to the print collections.

Checked out Library items due June 10

Because of the impact COVID-19 has had on our campus, all Library items currently checked out with an earlier than June 10, 2020 due date will automatically be renewed to June 10, 2020. Please check your email for additional information. If you have further questions, email libraries.circulation@ttu.edu.

Access Library via card swipe only

Beginning March 24, the Library will be accessible via valid Texas Tech ID card swipe only on the east side. All other doors, including those on the west side, will remain locked.

Crossroads Recording Studio is closed 

Due to COVID-19, the Crossroads Recording Studio will be closed until further notice. Check Crossroads Recording Studio homepage or our Facebook page for updates as the situation progresses.

Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library

The SWC/SCL reading room is going to appointment only, beginning March 24. The gallery doors will be locked.
