Library fair

The University Libraries will host its inaugural Library Services Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, in the Croslin Room of the Library.

The event will offer an interactive forum for Library patrons to ask questions, tour the building and see demonstrations about the numerous services provided, including electronic resources, personal librarians and accessing free digital images. Information also will be provided on the many items available for checkout, including iPods, digital cameras, lighting kits, audiobooks, DVDs and much more.

The fair will feature breakout workshops on EndNote Web, an online citations management tool, and on Mining Uncle Sam's Data, featuring Geographic Information Systems, maps and patents. EndNote Web sessions will take place at 11 a.m. in Room 309 and at 1 p.m. in Lab 150 of the University Library. The Mining Uncle Sam's Data session is scheduled at 2 p.m. in Room 309 of the University Library.

Forget what you think you know. Rediscover the Library.
