My name is Tyler Patton, and I am a junior Public Relations major from Graham, TX. My most recent media experience was working at my local newspaper, The Graham Leader, as a journalist last summer. I am a member of Pi Delta Alpha, our college’s Mass Communications Fraternity as well as Tech PR. I currently represent the College of Mass Communications in the SGA Student Senate as one of our three Senators.
After graduation, I would like to attend graduate school and enroll in a joint Juris Doctor/Master of Public Policy program. Ultimately I would like to work in political communications, serving as a press secretary or director of communications on Capitol Hill. I would also like to work in issues advocacy, with a focus on public education.
