Written Personal Statement
Our graduate students show a great deal of concern for their written work and take pride in showing thought and attention to good writing and editing. Please provide a statement of no fewer than 250 words and no more than 500 words. This statement should illustrate your writing ability by discussing your reasons for pursuing graduate work in mass communications and any additional information you believe will help the Admissions Committee in the selection process. Also, please provide a sample of your prior professional or academic work in mass communications. The Admissions Committee will review this essay carefully, along with other application materials.

Letters of Recommendation
Please have at least two people who know you well send letters of recommendation in support of your application to the Graduate Advisor (address below). These letters should address your ability to succeed in graduate level academic work. At least one of these letters should be from a professor familiar with your academic work.
