Tech Math Ambassadors, where leadership starts

Wanted: Enthusiastic math students with good communication skills and GPA of at least 3.5 to act as Math Ambassadors on behalf of the Department

Outreach and Recruitment Activities include:

• Involvement with Area Elementary, Middle, and High Schools
• Assisting with Mathematics Clubs, Mathematics or STEM conferences
• Teamwork with other Student Groups like the Engineering Ambassadors
• Recruit and Represent the Department at
  • Arts and Sciences Day (Aug)
  • LHS Fiesta (Sep)
  • Resource Fair - University Day (Oct)
  • Major and Minor Fair (Oct)
  • TTU Research Carnival (Oct or Nov)

What you will gain: besides a free T-shirt, you will be sharing your experiences and excitement about the subject with prospective students and parents, thus providing an invaluable service to the Department and its mission (to add to your resume).
