The McNair Scholars Program
Program Update and Transition
As of October 1, 2008, grant funding for the McNair Scholars Program was not renewed. Scholars served under the McNair Program will continue to conduct research at Texas Tech University under the newly developed Center for Undergraduate Research.
Texas Tech University had the privilege of housing this federally funded program for over 12 years. During this time over 128 Scholars were successfully served with 81 of these alumni continuing on to post baccalaureate education.
