 On being a Curator...

Curators are museum professionals who are knowledgable about museum disciplines such as collection care, public programs, and exhibitry. Thus, curators oversee museum departments like art, anthropology, biology, education, ethnology, exhibits, history, paleontology, textiles, etc. In some museums the term curator refers to the director.
