What's the Museum Science Program MISSION?
The mission of the of Museum Science Program is to prepare graduate students for entry into the international community of active professionals by providing both theoretical and practical preparation and acting as a responsible academic element of Texas Tech University.

What DEGREE is possible?
The Museum Science Program results in a Master of Arts (MA) in Museum Science.

Four new courses offered in the Spring, click here for detailed descriptions. All classes will take place in Classroom 3 of the Museum, and are open to any graduate student.

  • HMGT 7000-004 World Heritage Sites will be taught from 10:30 – 11:50am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Dr. Stance Hurst, Instructor
  • HMGT 7000-005 Heritage Resource Administration and Marketing will be taught from 8:30 – 9:50am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Dr. Scott White, Instructor
  • HMGT 7000-008 Perspectives on Intangible Heritage will be taught from 3 – 4:20pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Dr. Nick Crofts, Visiting Professor
  • HMGT 7000-009 Institutional Information Management will be taught from 3 – 4:20pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. Dr. Nick Crofts, Visiting Professor
