In The Blood Art Competition
Have your bloodthirsty art on display at the Museum of Texas Tech University. On October 30, 2016, the Museum of Texas Tech University will open an exhibition:
The exhibit will explore the natural history of wolves and vampire bats, and the mythology that has arisen around vampires and werewolves. There will be science, history, legend, and popular and pulp fiction, all rolled into the one show. You can be part of it. As an adjunct to the exhibit, we will display works of art by Texas Tech University students that are inspired by the exhibit's theme. Use your imagination, be creative. Make 'em monsters, or make 'em victims of fortune. Paintings, mixed media, and sculptures can be submitted. We will display as many as we can fit (as selected by a panel of student peers) in the Museum's main gallery from October through December 2016. Works on show will profile you as the artist and on the label you can describe your intentions behind the art.
