Louise Hutchinson

Private graveside services for Louise Hutchinson, 85, of Lubbock will be Thursday in the City of Lubbock Cemetery. Burial is under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
She died on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, in Lubbock.

She was born on April 2, 1915, in Sayre, Okla. She was a graduate of Texas Tech. She married Ben B. Hutchinson in 1941. He died in 1984.

She had served as president of the Lubbock-Crosby-Garza Medical Auxiliary and was a life member of the Lubbock Women's Club, serving two terms on the board. She was a life member of the West Texas Museum Association, and a charter member of the Women's Council there. She also served in an advisory capacity at the Museum Shop. A member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, she was a longtime volunteer at the Thrift House there.

A son, John, died in 1978.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Krull of Aledo; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
