The Learning Center is a place for children and adults to discover more about the world of the past and the world outside. Knowing the past helps us to better understand the present and make more informed decisions about our future. Discover history through stones, bones, plants, and soils, and the traditional lifeways of our predecessors on this land.

Learning about the outdoors opens windows on the wider world for children. Environmental education at the Landmark uses our 335 acres to expose children to colorful, varied, and always changing plant and animal life.

The Learning Center and its activities should be a part of any visit to the Landmark. It also is a hub of activity for school classes, Scouting groups, and other public programs.
