K-12 Programs and Opportunities

Lubbock Lake Landmark has created a variety of education opportunities for visiting K-12 learners and for the classroom.  Enjoy one of our existing programs with your homeschool group or class.  We will design a program that fits your needs.

Celebrate Archaeology and Culture

October is archaeology month! Each year, in mid-October, celebrate archaeology and culture with us.  We provide your students with the opportunity to experience Native American traditions through storytelling, discussions about early life on the Southern High Plains, traditional food processing methods of the Paleo-Indians, and archaeology.

Registration begins in September, and space is limited! Please contact the Landmark Education office at landmark.education@ttu.edu or 806 742 1116 for more information, or to register your group.

Traveling Trunks

Just can't seem to get to the Landmark? Let us come to you! Traveling trunks are a museum for the classroom!

We are currently revising our curriculum supplemental Traveling Trunks to correlate with new TEKS and NAAEE standards.  Available trunks will be listed here as they are completed.
