Guidelines for the Paint Your Own Sky Contest

1) Use any materials you choose to paint "yor own sky" -- materials found at home or purchased.

2) The paintings cannot exceed 40 square inches in length. (Any base larger will be disqualified from competition.)

Requirements

1) Must be in grades 1-6.

2) Must submit a completed registration form by Tuesday, October 1, before 4:45 PM (forms sent to all Region 17 Schools or available from the Museum's Education Division, and the Museum's website: http://www.ttu.edu/~museum).

3) Bring the paintings to the Museum on Thursday, October 3, 2002 before 4:30PM. Judging will take place between 5-7PM.

4) Paintings must be picked up from the Museum by 4:30PM Saturday, October 5, 2002, or they will become the property of the Museum.

Prizes:

First, second, and third place winners from two divisions will be awarded prizes.

Division 1: Grades 1-3

Division 2: Grades 4-6.

A prize will be given to the best group entry. The winning paintings will be displayed at the Museum during the month of October.
