Celebrate World Space Week 2003, October 4-10, at the Museum of Texas Tech University and its Moody Planetarium.

World Space Week is an annual celebration, at the international level, of the contributions that space science and technology can make to the betterment of the human condition.

This year's theme, "Space: Horizon Beyond Earth," encourages World Space Week participants to discuss the two main activities in space: exploration and utilization.

For World Space Week 2003 the Museum's goal is to promote and encourage further learning and participation in all aspects of space exploration among all people. In addition to special programming for the schools, activities for the public will be offered throughout the week.
