Many selections from these recordings can be heard on the radio show "Music at Texas Tech" which airs Friday nights at 7:30pm on KOHM 89.1 FM public radio. 2009-10 Texas All State Tutorial CDs for 1A/2A/3A and 4A/5A
The School of Music Faculty have recorded the wind and percussion All State audition etudes. Each CD includes a performance of each etude at a practice tempo, a performance of each etude at performance tempo and a master class by the faculty member covering preparation and performance strategies. We have received many positive comments about the value of these recordings as preparation tools. The order form is an Adobe pdf document. Just open it with Adobe's free reader. You can mail or fax (with a PO number) the form to us. The 1A/2A/3A CDs should be available by the end of August and the 4A/5A around the beginning of September.
