Hailing from London, England, David Warren is currently reading for an M.M. in Choral Conducting at Texas Tech University and holds a teaching assistantship with the Matador Singers, the University Singers, and The Lubbock Chorale. David is also Assistant Organist at First United Methodist Church in Lubbock.
Following four formative years in the Choir of Westminster Abbey, David's early musical education continued with the Trinity Boys Choir, where he latterly held both a Steinway and Sons scholarship (affording lessons with the Chair of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music) and the title of School Organist. Undergraduate study at Cambridge was then sponsored by an organ scholarship, alongside which David was a member of the University Chamber Choir; directed his college's close-harmony ensemble; was répétiteur to the Cambridgeshire Choral Society; and, in his final year, was Assistant Organist at St. Mary the Less in Cambridge.
