Ben Hawkinson

Ben Hawkinson is a second year DMA Choral Conducting student at Texas Tech University.

Growing up in Gilbert, AZ, Mr. Hawkinson graduated from Northern Arizona University and became active in the musical community of his hometown. He spent three years teaching choir at the High School and Junior High school levels and served as Minister of Music at a local Church, in addition to supporting his wife's operatic musical endeavors.

While earning his Master's at Westminster Choir College, he performed with the Westminster choir and Westminster Symphonic Choir - touring nationally, performing as the resident choir for the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC, and collaborating with the Philadelphia Orchestra, New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
