CONCERTO

Each year the Texas Tech Band & Orchestra Camp hosts a concerto competition for high school and middle school advanced instrumentalists (excluding piano). Winners perform at camp with our Festival Orchestra, made up of Texas Tech instrumental faculty as well as other camp faculty. This is a truly unique opportunity for students to solo with a professional orchestra.

For consideration, submit by May 18th, 2012:
  • Unedited recording of yourself playing a single movement concerto or one movement from a concerto - must be performed with piano, SmartMusic, or orchestra accompaniment on the recording.
  • Score of recorded material
  • Camp application form with deposit
  • When selecting your concerto, please note that if you are chosen but the parts cannot be obtained, you will not perform
  • Winners will be notified by email.
