Summer Youth Classes | June 10-14, 2019
The NRHC will provide a variety of week-long summer youth classes for children who have completed the first through fifth grades. Children will participate in hands-on classes that will stimulate their imagination as they experience pioneer life as it was centuries ago, express themselves through ranch art, make a Western movie from their own script, and learn the basics of leather working.

Kids Ranch Camp | July 30-August 1, 2019
The National Ranching Heritage Center is proud to announce a new partnership with Kids On the Land (KOL). NRHC's mission is to preserve and interpret the history of ranching and address contemporary ranching issues. This purpose connects to the mission of Kids On the Land, a unique STEM-environmental program designed to teach children about the region where they live, connecting them to the land and a more sustainable future. Both entities are working to preserve the heritage of ranch life which depends on healthy ecosystem functions.
KOL will team up with NRHC for Ranch Kids Camp July 30, 31, & Aug. 1. Classes will begin at 8AM each day and adjourn at 4:30pm. Students will need to bring sack lunches. Students will participate in activities that simulate the work of entomologists, naturalists, and wildlife biologists. All activities are experiential and science-based. It will be a fun, learning experience.
