Biography

I am from a small town in Western Massachusetts but have spent the past five years out west. I received my B.S. in Wildlife Biology from the University of Montana in 2009. Since then I've worked as a field technician in various states (ID, CA, OR, WA, UT) on a variety of different projects including bird surveys (Northern Goshawks, California Spotted Owls and White-headed woodpeckers), juvenile fish sampling and Smallmouth Bass removal. Most recently I worked for Idaho Fish and Game as a Wildlife Technician capturing and monitoring mule deer across the state. I am interested in big game ecology, specifically population biology, habitat selection and landscape use, but also have a love of all things wildlife. In my free time I enjoy camping, hiking, birding, taking road trips and watching football.
