Morgan Gilbert, M.S.

Biography

Born and raised in Southern California at the edge of the desert, I was lucky enough to move to Oregon and pursue my undergraduate education at Oregon State University. I spent time on either side of the Cascades - electrofishing and gill-netting in East Oregon for the Department of Fish and Wildlife, and exploring the coast from Hatfield Marine Science Center. While the study of fish is my passion, I am particularly interested in their early life stages - both from an ecological and a management perspective. In my free time (ha-ha) I enjoy board games, hiking, museums, and cooking.
