Courtney Jasik, M.S.

Biography

I am from Mertzon, Texas. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University majoring in Natural Resources Management with a concentration in Range Conservation and a minor in Animal Science. My research interests include restoration ecology and different rangeland management techniques. I have previously held a summer internship with Texas Parks and Wildlife at the Chaparral Wildlife Management Area and volunteered with the Natural Resources Conservation Service and Texas Parks and Wildlife on multiple occasions collecting plants, conducting wildlife and vegetation surveys, etc. Additionally, I have been/am very involved with the Texas Brigades organization for a majority of my life. My future career goals include working for a state agency or in the private sector as a Rangeland Manager.
