Biography

I have always loved being outside either hiking, camping, or working with plants. My research gives me a great opportunity to do all three. My first working experience with natural resources, was working for a National Park, clearing and restoring trails, building fences, erosion control, protecting wildlife and tagging trees that were damaged by Pine Beetles.  Seeing this destruction gave me the desire to protect our natural resources.
