Biography

I grew up in Osaka, Japan. I received my B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Griffith University, Australia in 2005 and M.S. in Biological Science from Kyoto University, Japan in 2009. Currently  I am working with Drs. Perry and Wallace on effects of urbanization on turtle communities in Lubbock, TX. I also work with Dr. Mori from Kyoto University on dietary study of arboreal lizards communities in Ankarafantsika National Park, Madagascar. Aside from my current research projects, I have strong interests in invasion ecology, including dispersal mechanisms and adaptation, rapid evolution of introduced species.
